In Bangladesh typically, when someone seeks admission in educational institutions, they have to search for information separately on various educational institutions' websites, apps, or by visiting the institutions in person. This fragmented process often leads to time wastage and missing out on details about quality institutions. To solve this problem, School Ghor provides centralized information about educational institutions.

Through this app, users can access details such as admission criteria – all from the comfort of their homes. It is highly beneficial for citizens.

History & Operations: Initially launched as a web application in 2020, it was later introduced as an Android app in 2022. Until April 2023, School Ghor remained in a basic structural form with no active operations. In May 2023, School Ghor App began limited operations in Sylhet, Bangladesh (note: it was initially decided to be launched in Dhaka but was later shifted to Sylhet) with a limited database, and this operation is currently temporarily closed.

Important Notice: Your privacy is our top priority. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or process any personal user data in any form. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application.

We explicitly state that we do NOT collect:

• Personal Information: No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identifying information
• Usage Data: No analytics, no tracking of how you use the app
• Device Information: No device IDs, operating system versions, or hardware information
• Location Data: No GPS or location information of any kind
• Contact Information: No access to your contacts or address book

Important Clarification: While many apps use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, or advertising, School Ghor does NOT use any such services.

We do not integrate with:

• Google Analytics or any analytics platforms
• Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics
• Advertising networks (no ads in our app)
• Social media integrations
• Cloud storage services

The app may require standard Android permissions for basic functionality, but it operates without tracking or sending any personal data to any external servers.

School Ghor is safe for users of all ages because:

• We do not collect any data from children or adults
• No personal information is requested or stored
• The app contains no social features or communication capabilities
• All content is strictly related to educational institution information and is age-appropriate

Parents and educators can feel confident that children using School Ghor are not being tracked, monitored, or data-collected in any way.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
